Giles said 'I started building motorcycles (against
my parents' wishes) from old parts I begged
from my mates' elder brothers when I was eleven
years old. Eventually upon leaving school my
dream came true when I got the job as an apprentice
motorcycle mechanic in a local dealership. After
about a year in this job, though, I was persuaded
to further my education which I did by enrolling
on a three year full-time automotive engineering
and management course. Just after graduating
from this course, I thought I was about to rejoin
the motor/bike trade full time when the opportunity
arose to start the computer business which took
me down that path for 18 very enjoyable years.
