Simply fit your standard discs and tyres, install your wheels and you're away.

  • All Required Spacers & Bearings pre-installed
  • CNC-Machined Sprocket Carrier
  • Cush Drive & Drive Pins

Found as standard on such diverse bikes as the most expensive Ducati ever made - the Superleggera - through to the unique Ariel Ace, BST wheels are the standard against which all others are judged for strength, durability and lightness, for both road and race use. Manufactured in a single moulding operation using a unique aerospace process to produce a wheel that’s far stronger than any standard or magnesium wheel - but much lighter too (up to 50% lighter than standard wheels) - with BST you can be sure you’ll have a product which is the result of decades of research, development, testing and certification by worldwide industry bodies, including TÜV.

The comments below were made by a CBR1000RR Fireblade owner during a conversation with HPS...

"First of all, when you sold me the BST wheels, you said I wouldn't be disappointed [and this is true].

I've since been to Spa Francorchamps [4.35 mile circuit] a couple of times on the bike [with the wheels installed and with no other bike changes since previous visits] and I've also been to Portimao [2.92 miles]. I shaved six and a half seconds off my best ever time at Spa (I've got into the 2.30 bracket - which is staggering - the high speed change of direction, I just couldn't believe) and I shaved four and a half seconds off my best time round Portimao as well, I just couldn't believe it.

[I know these lap times are accurate as] I've got a manual lap timer on the bike and I had a transponder on the bike on events Spa and Portimao and they both confirmed what I was getting on my lap timer ...so it's very impressive. It is fantastic. I know it is a lot of money on a set of wheels but, Jesus, it is better than any engine modification - like you said - so really, really pleased. Thank you very much!"

Question from HPS. Do you feel when you end your sessions and you're getting off the bike you are less fatigued?

"I do, I do and I was quite astounded by that as well, in the past I've been waiting for that [end of track session] flag to come out, but not anymore…"

Question from HPS. And does your bike just take much less physical input to haul through corners?

"It does indeed, it does and a very good comparison, I've got a mate I ride with all the time, who is a reasonable rider (like myself) who has a 2010 'Blade and we are normally swapping places constantly in each session, it's very good, but at Spa, round the back, where you've got two high speed direction changes the two lefts (Stavelot and Blanchimont) and there is a long left in the middle of the track as well (Pouhon), he's literally getting in my way round those two corners ...and he's fighting to keep control of the bike and I'm like 'should I go on the inside or the outside?'. I was grinning from ear to ear - it was brilliant!"

"They're definitely expensive, but definitely worth every penny. Yes, the stock 1000RR wheels are already pretty light but these feel impossibly light. No comparison to aluminum and even lighter than magnesium.

Once you get over the initial fear that you're not riding on metal anymore and realise how strong the BST's are constructed, all you feel is a huge difference in handling and quickness. Instant performance upgrade and a beautiful resin gloss finish to die for as well!”

"Got them on the bike and went to Wales Sunday did about 160 miles, I can say that they are truly amazing how it's made the bike so much easier to ride and the confidence that they give you as well. It turns faster easier, brakes better and the feedback is brilliant as well. Thanks for your help. All the best."
