| "I've covered over 9000 miles and I've almost lost count of how many replacement screens, of different shapes and sizes, I've put to the test. I had the wobbly, over-sized touring screen that acted like a sail, wafting around in the wind. It was style over substance with the sports screen, it looked great but wasn't much use when it came to it. I even resorted to no screen at all and in all honesty I can say that this was the best of a bad lot.
An MCN reader and fellow Tracer rider got in touch to suggest I try the MRA Vario Touring Screen... The MRA comes with pre-drilled holes and screws to the same mounting points as the Yamaha's standard screen, so is quick and easy to fit. Once in place the height can be adjusted with one hand, while the spoiler is a little resistant and needs both hands. It takes a few attempts to get the height of the screen and the angle of the spoiler in the correct position but once I hit the sweet spot, the difference was instantly noticeable and such a relief."
