Sigma BMW S1000RR 2010-2018 & HP4 2013> onwards Performance Slipper Clutch

Ref: 59122

Essential for racers, trackday goers and road riders alike...!

BMW's sport bike has plenty of power and can certainly handle itself well on a racetrack. The Sigma clutch is lighter than the original and equipped as it is with ball bearings on the ramps it operates very smoothly. Tthe ramp angles are set lower to help with fast downshifting 'on track' and to provide a quicker corner entry. The clutch provides all the normal slipper clutch benefits with better over-rev protection and improved chassis stability going into corners.

The Sigma clutch is a simple ‘slipper only’ clutch so you don’t have to deal with the standard clutch wanting to engage while you are feeling for the ‘bite point’ on the start line. In addition grip mid corner is improved. BMW have followed a similar strategy by replacing the ‘slipper gripper’ normally fitted to their S1000RR sports bikes with a conventional ‘slipper only‘ clutch on their race M 1000 RR version.

  • Avoids locking your rear wheel up or "hopping" when down-changing rapidly for greatly increased control and safety
  • Helps to protect your engine and its valves in the event of an accidental/inadvertent downshift
  • Employs the latest bearings & ramp technology for unnoticed, seamless, operation
  • Automatically adjusts slip to your riding style for the smoothest corner entry
  • As easy to install/change as your bike's original clutch
  • Six ramp, wet type
  • Clutch centre only
  • Uses standard clutch plates and springs (not supplied)

"It's only when you ride a bike deprived of a slipper clutch that you come to realise just how genius and essential these fancy sounding plate spinners are."
