HEL Brake Calipers

NEW DESIGN WITH COOLING FINS & EASIER INSTALLATION

The V2 model is a progression from the original HEL caliper design. They are a huge step foward, featuring new styling with an outboard bleed nipple and banjo take off meaning bleeding and installation are easier. They also feature five bolts rather than the previous three to offer more stability under braking and strength through the caliper. They come complete with stainless steel pad pins which have been upgraded to offer both an R-clip at the back and lockwire hole at the front.

CNC Billet Machined
Many calipers nowadays are forged to hit a lower price point which can limit design as threads and internal flow circuits need to be machine detailed afterwards. HEL calipers are precision machined entirely from race grade solid billet 6082-T6 aluminium - minimising weight and maximising strength.

Heat Sink Design
HEL's stainless pistons and billet body act as a heat sink drawing the extreme temperatures generated by the discs and pads to dissipate effectively, to keep fluid at optimum operating temperatures and lower than boiling point. On track and on the limit, the performance advantage is simply stunning, allowing fade-free powerful braking and ultra consistent feel - lap after lap after lap.

Complete Circuit Technology
Unlike some calipers which only feed fluid from one side, HEL utilises complete circuit technology, enabling fluid to fully circulate within the caliper meaning easier and faster removal of air from the system when bleeding.

DEVIL IN THE DETAIL

The HEL Performance 84mm Axial Mounted Rear Caliper is fully CNC machined from solid billet aluminium to offer strength, minimal weight and stiffness.

The calipers come with two 32mm opposed pistons and take a standard pad to offer you total flexibility in pad choice.

Stainless steel pistons, again all machined in-house, compliment the caliper and offer greater heat dissipation under braking.

They're also super lightweight, weighing in at just 505 grams excluding pads and pin.
