Motul DOT 4 Fully Synthetic Brake Fluid (0.5 Litre) Ref: 28351 100% synthetic fluid for hydraulic actuated-brake and clutch systems
Type of Use All types of hydraulic actuated-brake and clutch systems meeting DOT 4 and DOT 3 manufacturers' recommendations.
Performance High thermal resistance and stability : The high dry boiling point (245°C / 473°F), superior to DOT 3 conventional fluids (205°C / 401°F mini) enables an effective brake even under extreme conditions.
Security: The high wet boiling point (160°C / 320°F) superior to DOT 3 conventional fluids (140°C / 284°C mini) enables to use the product longer. Indeed, DOT 3 / DOT 4 et DOT 5.1 brake fluids have the property to absorb humidity in the air, which reduces their boiling points and consequently security.
The wet boiling point is representative of the fluid after one year of use.
Perfectly neutral with seals used in braking systems. Anti-corrosion.

Motul RBF600 DOT4 Factory Line Fully Synthetic High Performance Racing Brake Fluid (0.5 Litre) Ref: 55718 DOT 4, 100% synthetic fluid for hydraulic actuated-brake and clutch systems
High boiling point : 594°F / 312°C
Type of Use All types of hydraulic actuated-brake and clutch systems requiring a non-silicone synthetic fluid.
Specially designed to resist the high temperatures within racing brakes (steel or carbon) and clutch systems.
Exceeds DOT 5.1 and DOT 3 standards also, except for viscosity at - 40°C (-40°F).
Performance Extreme thermal resistance and stability: RBF600s high dry boiling point of 312°C / 594°F is superior to conventional DOT 5.1 non silicone base / DOT 5 silicone base fluids (260°C / 500°F mini) and DOT 4 (230°C / 446°F minimum) to guarantee effective braking even under extreme racetrack conditions.
Still efficient when hygroscopically contaminated: All DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 brake fluids have the propensity to absorb humidity/water (as is naturally present in the moist atmosphere) which, when contaminated, reduces their boiling points and increases the risk of vapour lock and/or excessive lever/pedal travel.
RBF600s high 'wet' boiling point of 204°C / 399°F is also superior to conventional DOT 5.1 non-silicone base fluid (180°C / 356°F minimum) and DOT 4 (155°C / 311°F minimum) wet boiling points
Wet boiling point is normally tested by humidifying the fluid with approx. 3.5% of water - but, on a track or race bike (with any brand/type of fluid) we would recommend regular bleeding to remove moisture and keep the fluid performing at optimum levels.
Please note: Due to current shipping regulations, we can supply oils to mainland UK addresses only
Price:£14.16 (£16.99 inc. UK VAT at 20%)

Motul RBF660 DOT4 Factory Line Fully Synthetic Higher Performance Racing Brake Fluid (0.5 Litre) Ref: 42801 DOT 4, 100% synthetic fluid for hydraulic actuated-brake and clutch systems
Very high boiling point : 622°F / 328°C
Type of Use All types of hydraulic actuated-brake and clutch systems requiring a non-silicone synthetic fluid.
Specially designed to resist the very highest temperature within racing brakes (steel or carbon) and clutch systems.
Exceeds DOT 5.1 and DOT 3 standards also, except for viscosity at - 40°C (-40°F).
"I tried this race-spec fluid to see if there’s a gain to be had. There isn’t a noticeable improvement in feel or power over the brand-name standard DOT4 fluid I used before, but performance is more consistent.
I’ve not suffered any fade or gradual decline in braking – it seems to deal with the stress of racing for longer, and it hasn’t needed bleeding so frequently."

Performance Extreme thermal resistance and stability: RBF660s very high dry boiling point of 328°C / 622°F is superior to conventional DOT 5.1 non silicone base / DOT 5 silicone base fluids (260°C / 500°F mini) and DOT 4 (230°C / 446°F minimum) to guarantee effective braking even under extreme racetrack conditions.

Read the Motul RBF660 DOT4 Factory Line Fully Synthetic Higher Performance Racing Brake Fluid (0.5 Litre) Reviews... (Overall Rating: 10 out of 10) I finally have no brake issues! I did Mallory Park on Sat 13th with the Brembo Serie Oro discs, Motul RBF660 fluid, GPFAX pads and HEL lines - I finally have no brake issues! It’s amazing to ride with complete brake consistency. I just wanted to thank you for all you help and advice. (17/09/2014) Steve - Suzuki GSX-R750 K4 2004
