Madstad accomplishes superior airflow by separating your bike's windshield from its fairing with the patented adjustable RoboBracket system. By scooping air up under the windshield, it eliminates the vacuum normally generated behind your screen which causes turbulence and buffeting.

Your new windshield will then be fully adjustable for height, tilt and depth (distance from the rider). With the windshield raised from the fairing, air can flow underneath, eliminating the turbulence-causing vacuum behind it and giving you total control over the airflow and position of your shield, meaning one size shield will work perfectly for many different height riders.

Under 5'10" (178cm) - 18-inch (460mm) screen
5'11" - 6'1" (180-185cm) - 20-inch (510mm) screen
6'2" - 6'4" (188-193cm) - 22-inch (560mm) screen
Over 6'4" (193cm+) - 24-inch (610mm) screen

How to measure
Sit on the bike with a ruler or tape measure straight up from the centre of the tank. Look straight ahead and estimate about where your mouth level is on the measure. Add three inches and that is most likely the correct shield size.
For example, the top edge of the 20 inch windshield is at the 17" level when pivoted forward and set to the lowest height setting. If your mouth level is at about the 17 inch mark then you would order the 20 inch shield because you should see over it no problem, but could also raise it up another inch or two if you like. The list below shows the height range of each windshields for the Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT, so use this chart along with your tape measure to determine the best shield size for you:

18 inch shield: 15-17 inches
20 inch shield: 17-19 inches
22 inch shield: 19-21 inches
24 inch shield: 21-23 inches
