The MadStad bracket replaces the plastic factory bracket making your screen adjustable for 25 degrees of tilt angle as well as 3-inch (76mm) of height, without needing tools, without even getting off the bike!
The position adjustment makes your windshield more aerodynamic and allows air to flow underneath the shield to eliminate any vacuum - creating a smoother airflow virtually eliminating turbulence, even with the stock windshield. The difference in ride comfort is remarkable.
| "Incredible. ...from any point the MadStad bracket provides an impressive range of adjustment, both vertically and fore-and-aft. Finding the optimal windshield position is largely a matter of trial and error, but adjustments are quick and easy. After just a couple of trial runs I was able to find a setting that allowed me to look just over the top of the shield but deflected the wind blast over the top of my helmet. Head buffeting was completely eliminated, and wind noise was decreased significantly.
Installation of this bracket can be done by the average home mechanic with only a screwdriver and the allen wrench included in the package. The process took me less than 15 minutes. The instructions were well illustrated and easy to understand.

Any windshield made for the VStrom will fit these brackets and they work particularly well with the added airflow adjustments available with the MRA Vario-Touring Screen.
Manufactured from satin-black powder coated stainless steel, they blend in nicely with the instrument panel. All hardware is included along with an Allen key to remove the factory bracket and install the Mad Stad - all you need is a Philips screwdriver and 5-10 minutes for installation.
