The original factory installed Quickshifter and/or Blipper sensor on most recent sportsbikes is ordinarily a non-adjustable spring-loaded mechanical switch which requires high foot pressure before actuating - leading to potentially premature gearbox selector-fork wear - a very “wooden” feeling shift action and also rider foot strain.
This completely plug-and-play (with OEM connectors) strain-gauge/load-cell unit, with replacement shift rod included too, replaces the original sensor enabling you to independently adjust the pressure required individually for both upshifts (and downshifts, where applicable) to make the shift action lighter and your bike more pleasant and less fatiguing to ride.
