If your bike already has an original equipment factory-fitted Quickshifter, this kit's included shift rod sensor will continue to activate it and (because its adjustable) provide an enhanced shift action.
If your bike doesnt have a Quickshifter, then simply add the low-cost upshifting upgrade (UPKIT) for a complete adjustable Quickshifter system too!

"If you were to take this product off of my GSX-R 1000 L8, the performance, usability and utter brilliance of the machine would take a right battering. I know this because I remember what my shifter-less base model Suzuki was like to ride before I fitted this strain-gauge, adjustable shifter and blipper unit.
It literally transformed the riding experience, taking a lot of the thinking out of the equation while knocking seconds off my lap times. In honesty, it wasn't the quickest or easiest of products to fit, piggy-backing off of the injectors, but it's been faultless from the get-go, to the extent I've never even felt the need to mess around with its broad range of digital adjustability.
