RECORD BREAKING WHEELS!
In October of 2003 Lee Shierts made history
as being the first rider to ever set a record
above 250mph on an open wheel motorcycle at
a National sanctioned land speed event in the
USA.
Suzuki Hayabusa is owned by Rich Yancy of Charlotte,
North Carolina and has modified ice water intercooled
Mr Turbo kit featuring a full data acquisition
system and Dymag
Magnesium wheels.
This year has seen the Yancy Busa consistently
demolish the record books meeting after meeting.
Most of those records were set with ace rider
Wayne Pollack aboard who held the record at
242.587 up until this event. The new record
in the
class is a speed of 250.006.

2003 Duke Formula One Isle of Man TT
Riding a GSX-R1000, TAS Suzuki rider, Adrian
Archibald, won the 2003 Formula One TT and for
the tenth consecutive year it was a bike fitted
with Dymag wheels that claimed victory in the
premier class of the event.
The Formula One class allows the most modifications
(as opposed to the production classes where
bikes are close to standard) and it was a natural
choice for the experienced TAS team to choose
Dymag three spoke cast magnesium wheels for
their ability to withstand the extreme rigours
of racing on public roads. Many race wheels
are designed to be safe only for use within
the closely controlled environment of short
circuits, where the surface is smoother and
free from the natural obstacles and imperfections
found on the Isle of Man road circuit.
For the most durable race proven wheels, make
Dymag
your choice too.

2003 World Endurance Championship
After eight gruelling meetings across the globe,
the Suzuki GB – Phase 1 Endurance Team
clinched the 2003 World Endurance Championship
at a nail-biting last round, finishing with
143 points – 16 ahead of their nearest
rival.
Throughout the season, the team has relied upon
hundreds of key components supplied by the team’s
technical partners, with the UK’s leading
wheel manufacturer, Dymag, helping the team
to cross the finishing line each time on its
lightweight three spoke cast Magnesium wheels.
Dymag’s wheels were chosen, not only for
their light weight, but their stiffness, strength
and durability, attributes which not all other
race wheels share – making many unsuitable
for long distance events.
These attributes make Dymag
the clear first choice for those who need the
best lightweight road-approved wheel for their
street, track or out-and-out race bike.
