Operating seamlessly with the Yamaha YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) fly-by-wire throttle, CABS automatically blips your throttle during downshifts to enable the smoothest, fastest and safest downshifting, providing the most rapid deceleration when racing or sport riding and allowing the rider to concentrate entirely on controlling the brake lever pressure with their right hand.
- Operates in conjunction with your bike’s standard (or any aftermarket) slipper-clutch
- Automatically provides the added protection your gearbox internals really need
- Complete kit supplied; very quick and simple to install
- No wire cutting, soldering crimping or special tools required
- Supplied with enable/disable switch
- Compatible with other electronic modules for quickshifting and fuel injection — such as Bazzaz and Power Commander – etc., from all aftermarket manufacturers (please specify what your bike already has installed when ordering)
- Contributes enormously to safer, smoother and faster corner entry speeds
And, because it simply uses the clutch lever as the blipping trigger, it’s only activated when downshifting - meaning no additional rider input or learning is required at all.
Please note CABS overrides the sidestand gear selection interlock - meaning your engine will not cut out upon gear engagement with sidestand lowered.
